The Vice Chairperson of the Arms Commission of Liberia, Hon. Vahkpanah B. K. Wymon is an experienced and versatile, as well as an achieved public servant of the Republic of Liberia. Hon. Wymon has a distinguished background in the areas of Human Rights, Security and Defense, International Relations and Diplomacy and as well a conflict transformation advocate. He is a graduate of the Kofi Annan Graduate Institute for Peace and Conflict Transformation, the Ibrahim Badamasi Bambagida Graduate School of International Relations and the Lewis Arthur Grimes School of Law, University of Liberia. Apart from achieving master degree in International Relations, Peace and Conflict Transformation and a study of Law in Liberia, the Vice Chairman of the Commission schooled in the United States of America in the areas of Managing Security Services in Africa from the African Center for Strategic Studies, National Defense University in Washington DC, and attended the United States Army Logistics University in Fort Lee, Virginia, United States of America. Hon. Wymon served with distinction for nearly two decades of service in the Armed Forces of Liberia as an active duty field grade officer, playing a pivotal role in the maintenance of peace, and the co-existence of our people in Liberia and the African Region. During the years of service in the Armed Forces of Liberia, Mr. Wymon dedicated himself to ensuring peace and tranquility exist in Liberia and that the Liberian Army subscribed to the highest standard of professionalism.
